Norton Panther Invite

The Copley Girls Cross Country team continued their strong September racing with a 4th-place finish out of 8 teams at the Norton Panther Invitational held at Silvercreek Metro Park on September 13, 2025.

Ava Capper led the way for the Indians with a standout 13th-place finish in 23:01, pacing a tight and determined scoring pack. Anna Allbaugh (23:57), Lily Church (24:14), Anna Eby (24:40), and Brynn Driscoll (25:08) rounded out the scoring five — all finishing within just over two minutes of each other to secure the top-4 team result.

Strong supporting efforts came from Magdalena Villarreal (25:43) and Evy Bunts (26:58), adding depth to the lineup and continuing to show great team progress.

It was another encouraging step forward for the girls, with steady improvement and competitive pack running highlighting the day.

The Copley Boys Cross Country team turned in a strong team performance at the Norton Panther Invitational on September 13, 2025, finishing as runners-up out of 12 teams at Silvercreek Metro Park.

Griffin Morrison led the charge with an impressive 7th-place finish in 18:30, followed closely by Owen Frazee (12th – 18:48) and Zackary Dodson (14th – 18:58) to give Copley three runners inside the top 15. Antonio Rodriguez (19:26) and Thomas Fortin (19:38) closed out the scoring five, helping secure the 2nd-place team finish.

Strong supporting efforts came from Aiden Tufts (19:45) and Parker Lust (19:45), who both finished side-by-side to round out a tight pack of top-35 finishes.

It was another solid outing for the boys, showing great depth, consistency, and pack running as they continue to build momentum into the heart of the season.
